Justin Beller was elected as the City Council member representing District 1 in 2021. Councilmember Beller is a native Arkansan that has lived and worked in Collin County since 2005. He is a sixth-generation community banker and currently works for Independent Financial in McKinney. He has a B.A. and M.B.A. from Harding University and attended the Graduate School of Banking at SMU.

Councilmember Beller actively volunteers in McKinney. He is an alumnus of the Leadership McKinney program and has served on many nonprofit and city boards including Holy Family School, the McKinney Housing Authority, and the Chamber of Commerce. He also volunteers as a mentor for youth in our community.
